I just got back from Malaysia last Sunday night. Basically I only spent around 2 days there since we had a late afternoon flight last Thursday and an early flight last Sunday... which was okay. No internet, no cellphone. I loved it. I got to relax after such a stressful month of advanced summer classes (I swear, I will stop advancing subjects from now on - next year I'm totally going to rest). We had a tour around Kuala Lumpur, which is a really interesting place for me because there were so many races with different cultures living together in quite a small place. There were the Malays, the Chinese and the Indians. And all of them were nice. :]

We spent our spare time shopping around the Bukit Bintang area (where we stayed) - Sungei Wang, BB Plaza, and Pavilion (which was our favorite place - it was just in front of our hotel). I was able to buy a few little things and around 3 or 4 pieces of new clothes. My brothers were able to buy so much more than me because the stuff there for guys are really nice!


Here are some of the things I bought! I TOTALLY SPLURGED ON BOOKS AND MAGAZINES. The Kinokuniya at the Surya Mall is epic win. :] *geek mode on* I bought other stuff too but I'm too lazy to take pictures of everything. *o*


The Petronas Towers! From afar. Hee. Even with my wide angle lens, it was hard to take pictures when you're right smack in front of the buildings. XD

On an unrelated note, I recently got featured in Idea Photos magazine. It's a Taiwanese magazine so everything's in Mandarin (except for my description of the photos). Hee. *u* It's a photography magazine (duh) and it's the first time that some of these pictures have been published on print (my shoots for local magazines are a bit ordinary compared to the shoots I really like doing). I also included *blackmage9's link since I probably took 90% of the photos in her gallery. And without her, my pictures wouldn't be worth looking at. Props to Edjie for being awesome. I haven't bought a new camera yet. I'm really confused now. A lot of people are saying that if I'm going to get the 40D, might as well get the 5D instead. Hahahahahaha OMG *dies from confusion* ;___________; NOW I'M REALLY LEANING TOWARDS 5D.
