One of the things I semi-regret these past few years was not being able to update my deviantART as much as I used to. I blame it on life catching up and suddenly throwing me into a very deep (and sometimes dark) well of new opportunities and new territories. While I am responsible for the death of this account, it's also up to me to resurrect it once more. I keep telling myself to shoot and focus on photography more often, but I admit I fell into the trap of going with what can be sold better and higher. Partially it was pretty much caused by insecurity when it came to my photography skills, as the number of photographers suddenly shot up and I felt like I didn't have any thing new or special to bring to the table. Until when could I market myself as a young and budding student photographer with a knack for self-portraits, really? I tried to be realistic... and it cost a few sacrifices here and there. Besides, I discovered a new platform where I could do the exact same stuff AND enjoy a more "fashion" angle at the same time... Well, you guys know all about that.

Photography will always be my number one love. Even without my camera, I am constantly taking photos with whatever I have in my hand (Recently, I've been taking quite a lot of photos with my iPhone...). I just need to focus on having fun experimenting with again, as I have done from the start. I haven't grown much in terms of skill in these past years because I never really had enough practice and trial-and-error but I'm going to make it a goal from now on. To grow as a photographer. As for what kind of growth, I don't know yet... but I'm determined to update everyone with my work through the resurrection of this account. I've only had time to do commercial magazine shoots but not much the kind where I would make an effort to organize everything and think of concepts, etc. It wasn't completely bad, since I was also able to build my portfolio (and get paid a bit, heh) but I've been feeling a little stuck in terms of developing my eye further.

I hope you guys haven't completely forgotten about my photos yet, as most people in the physical industry I move in already have, lol.
